Happy 4th of July

We started our day with a Pancake Breakfast in the park with members of our ward. The kids decorated their bikes and had a little parade.

We then ran to the pool where Karter's swim teacher did not cancel class for the holiday. After lessons we hung out for probably way too long when we found out the pool has a party on the 4th. There was a hula-hoop contest, a belly-flop contest, and a coin hunt (where they throw coins in the pool and let all the kids dive in search of them).

We then scoped out a good spot for the local firework display and let the kids play until the fireworks started.

We came home and did a few of our own fireworks and then went to bed.
