Easter

The kids left carrots out for the E. Bunny. The note says, "For Easter Bunny. No Parents!" Too funny!
On Easter Sunday we were traveling back from our vacation in Florida. We explained to the kids that Mom & Dad had written to the Easter Bunny to explain that we were not going to be home and that we asked him to come to our house on the next Saturday. The kids woke to a
house full of hidden (and not-so-hidden) eggs. They were wild and crazy as they tried to find every one in what seemed like the race of a lifetime - total frenzie if you know what I mean. They did slow down and put some in Brenner's bucket. It seems no matter how much the E.Bunny tried to scale back, there is still WAY TOO MUCH candy! Of course baskets are filled with too much too. Each enjoyed getting their own newly released movie and a toy. Hopefully as the years go on we can teach them a more meaningful way to observe the Easter holiday and have reverence and love for our Savior as well as have fun. My Mom & Dad were here for Rylie's baptism so Grandparents got to be part of the funfilled Easter Egg Hunt.
