Our Family Home Evening started off meaningfully. Aaron was giving a lesson about Prophets and was explaining about Samuel the Lamanite. He stood on a stool and said he was Samuel and explained the story. Then he handed each of the kids a bowl full of mini-marshmallows and told them to pretend they were stones. Whenever Aaron told them a commandment, the kids were to throw the stones at him and say, "We don't want to." (obey the commandment that is) Emorie loves to be included and when Aaron was done she said, "Emorie's turn." So we let her have a turn and then it turned into a marshmallow throw instead of a lesson. They had fun though.

What a cute little idea for kids to be able to understand the story line. Yall are such awesome parents. I hope that I can be as great with my kids as you are with yours..
